Christian love is truly universal. Jesus Christ says, "God makes his sun rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the just and the unjust." Yet, how infinitely tolerant Jesus is towards the sinner, so harsh and intolerant He is towards the sin. He writes the guilt of the adulteress in the sand, but he never abrogated the sixth commandment.
Jesus is like a physician who loves the sick but not the disease.
A true Christian sincerely loves an LGBT person, but he loves him not because of his sexual orientation, but because he is a human. And if a person has fallen on the way to eternal life, you do not condemn him – because you yourself also are a sinner yourself. And you should give him a helping hand – this is neighborly love. However, if you refuse to warn a person or an entire civilisation which is carelessly marching towards the abyss, then it is not love but a crime.
